We are seeking a meticulous professional to integrate into our team, who will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions related to credentialing within a health facility.
Key Responsibilities- Identify discrepancies in information and conduct follow-ups
- Presentation of applications to the facility's Committee
- Assistance with credentialing inquiries from customers
- Response to inquiries from health plan providers
- Capture of primary source documentation in computer databases
- Data backup assurance
- Adherence to compliance laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
Requirements and Skills
- Proven work experience as a Credentialing Specialist or similar role
- Verification and maintenance of healthcare provider credentials
- Compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintenance of care providers' qualifications and ongoing training
- Review of healthcare professionals' qualifications to ensure they meet organizational standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Proficient touch-typing skills
- Ability to focus for extended periods
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Credentialing Specialist
