Job Description:
Zonal Manager Role Overview
The Zonal Manager is a crucial position responsible for overseeing the performance of multiple franchises within a designated region. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Sales Performance Management:
The primary objective of this role is to achieve sales targets through effective customer acquisition and retention strategies. This includes conducting regular market visits, analyzing sales data, and providing insights to franchisees on improving their sales and profitability.

Stock Management:
As a Zonal Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that franchisees maintain optimal stock levels, including managing inventory, tracking stock movement, and advising franchisees on ideal item mixes based on location and stock data.

TSO and CPO Management:
You will oversee the activities of Territory Sales Officers (TSOs) and Central Point Of Sale (CPO) staff, setting targets, monitoring performance, and conducting regular meetings to discuss progress and provide guidance.

Market Analysis and Feedback:
This role requires you to conduct thorough market analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges, and providing valuable feedback to stakeholders. You will also be responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with franchisees, resolving issues promptly, and updating daily activity reports for management review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve new customer acquisition sales target on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
  • Manage stock levels across multiple franchises.
  • Oversee TSO and CPO activities, setting targets and monitoring performance.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide valuable feedback to stakeholders.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with franchisees.
  • Update daily activity reports for management review.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the agriculture industry and its dynamics.
