Role Overview

The Solar Business Development Executive plays a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies, enhancing communication, and applying sales techniques to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain awareness of state policies and manage related data through market research.
  • Discover and cultivate fresh business prospects in the commercial and industrial sector through market research, networking, cold outreach, and industry conferences.
  • Establish and sustain robust relationships with existing clients seeking new services.
  • Stay up-to-date on project documentation and client interactions.
  • Manage social media platforms with regular updates.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems project sales across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interfacing with stakeholders. Analytical skills to tackle complex issues and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) are necessary. Experience with inside sales and lead generation is crucial, along with a solid understanding of industry regulations and statutory compliance and familiarity with technical specifications.
