We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the company's accounts receivable and ensure timely payment from customers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review forecasted sales on CRM systems, discuss projected profit and loss with sales staff, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintain and monitor contract/project-specific profit and loss statements.
  • Lead and improve budgeting and forecasting processes, including setting and reviewing targets.
  • Prepare forecasted cash inflows and sales for the year after discussions with sales and accounts teams.
  • Monitor performance against forecasts and pipeline.
  • Assist in overall company planning and budgeting.
  • Manage compensation and incentives for Business Development Managers (BDMs) if applicable.
  • Review customer contracts and purchase orders, and prepare agreement extracts.
  • Assist sales team with proposals, including costing and tax implications.
  • Identify costs associated with contracts/customers.
  • Procure for projects as needed.
  • Raise invoices timely via accounting software, ensuring sequential numbering.
  • Record receipts and follow-up on collections.
  • Develop and improve accounting and control processes for timely reporting.
  • Maintain procedures for invoicing and costing between entities.
Requirements
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or ACCA finalist, or a Master's degree in Finance from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of taxation is an added advantage.
