Network Infrastructure Specialist

A Network Support role is available for a skilled technician to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:- Investigate system, network and software issues.
- Solve hardware/software problems in Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN).
- Install, configure and troubleshoot network printers, systems and software for end users.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades.
- Address local area network issues including cabling, switches and other network-related problems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory an asset.
- Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP essential.
- Database management skills required.
- Experience with mediums: IIS, Mail Server, Windows, SSL beneficial.
- Certifications in hardware and software installation and troubleshooting courses valuable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 necessary.
- Understanding of Microsoft Servers 2003/2008 desirable.
