Transport Network Specialist

Experienced professionals are sought after to configure and maintain Transport network infrastructure. This includes Microwave, Optical, IP, and FIX customers in 24/7 shifts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Juniper, Huawei, and Cisco routers, including SRX, ASA, and Fortinet devices. Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain Transport network infrastructure covering Microwave, Optical, IP, and FIX customers.
  • Analyze existing hardware, software, and networking systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create scalable networks according to client specifications.
  • Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Resolve technical issues with networks, hardware, and software.
  • Perform speed and security tests on installed networks.
  • Apply network security upgrades to protect against cyber threats.
  • Upgrade or replace hardware and software systems as required.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in network configuration and maintenance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics engineering.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and strong communication skills.
  • IP Certification (JNCIP, CCNP, HCNP) is an added advantage.
