About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Compliance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review financial records and documents for accuracy and compliance with tax laws, ensuring all necessary information is up-to-date and accurate.
  2. Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant tax regulations.
  3. Conduct audits to verify tax return accuracy and identify discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Provide guidance on tax obligations and rights, ensuring clients are fully aware of their responsibilities and entitlements.
  5. Investigate and resolve tax-related issues promptly, minimizing any potential impact on clients or stakeholders.
  6. Stay updated on tax law changes and ensure compliance, implementing new procedures and protocols as required.
  7. Collaborate with finance and legal departments on tax implications, ensuring a unified approach to tax management.
  8. Assist with tax planning and strategy development, providing expert advice to clients on optimal tax structures and arrangements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance; ACCA qualification highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with ERPs like Quickbooks and other financial software.

This role requires expertise in tax data management, sales tax, and WHT tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, working closely with finance and legal departments to ensure seamless tax management.
