Sales Development Representative Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires the ability to identify and reach out to new leads, start conversations, and book qualified demos for our sales team.

This is not an average Sales Development Representative role. We value creativity, automation, and empathy. You will use tools like Hubspot, ChatGPT, and Intercom to craft sharp outreach, personalize at scale, and build relationships with potential customers who may be too busy to respond unless you are good.

This role is ideal for someone who loves the hunt, is not afraid of cold calls, and gets a rush from turning a negative response into a positive one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect daily to identify and research new businesses that could benefit from our software.
  • Reach out via cold calls, emails, and social channels to start meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book product demos for the sales team.
  • Write high-quality outreach sequences using automation and personalization.
  • Use AI tools to increase efficiency, personalize messaging, and analyze what's working.
  • Maintain clean and organized records of outreach and results in our CRM (HubSpot).

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of Sales Development Representative or sales experience (SaaS, tech, or B2B strongly preferred).
  • You should be comfortable with cold calling and emailing, and can handle rejection with ease.
  • You should be able to write clear, sharp, and friendly outreach that feels human and not spammy.
  • You should be comfortable speaking with business owners, service advisors, and other professionals.

About the Role:

This is a full-time entry-level role. You will have the opportunity to learn about the company and the shop management software space.
