About the Role:
dLocal enables the biggest companies in the world to collect payments in 40 countries in emerging markets. This is a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment where we make it possible for our merchants to expand into the world's fastest-growing, emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of specialists and processors, ensuring seamless processing and achievement of regional objectives.
  • Closely manage the operations team for overall operational excellence and oversee the execution of regional strategies.
  • Monitor performance, set goals, and drive initiatives that align with regional targets and business objectives.
  • Work with internal teams on operations/product/technology roadmaps and integration of partnerships within APAC.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to optimize workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support regional growth.
  • Drive strategic decisions involving negotiation and optimization of capabilities, pricing negotiations, exploration of new solutions, and continuous process improvement.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial partnerships and agreements.
  • Analyse performance results and optimise accordingly.
  • Stay on top of local regulatory/licensing requirements and collaborate with regulatory and legal teams to ensure the operation is sustainable.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in payment operations, fintech, or cross-border finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC payments ecosystem, financial regulations, and payout models.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performance teams and managing operational complexity at scale.
  • Strong data and analytical skills; ability to use metrics to drive decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and functions.
  • Proficiency in English required; additional Asian languages a plus.
