About the Role:
We are looking for an Insurance Client Services Associate to join our team. As a key client contact, you will provide support to clients on maximizing the use of our product for insurance companies covered in Capital IQ Pro.
The Insurance Client Services Role involves addressing client questions and requests about the platform/excel add-in, escalating issues and inquiries to other teams if necessary, communicating with internal content teams, and account management.
Responsibilities and Impact:
You will be responsible for providing the best product in the market, along with the best support for it. This directly affects the client's perspective of the quality of the company as a whole.
You will have the opportunity to relay feedback to the company and understand the needs of the clients, which is valuable to the development of the Platform.
You will help accelerate the quality and timeliness of the data, improve operational efficiency to reduce error rates, and improve support survey scores to help maintain retention rates and drive revenue increases.
You will be responsible for providing industry-based client support to S&P clients across the world.
You will proactively handle inbound client inquiries - phone calls, emails, and chats.
You will adapt to learn recent macro-economic & industry events and enhancements in S&P products.
You will independently manage interactions with various unified teams.
You will work as a team member to achieve department targets for client satisfaction.
You will make suggestions regarding product usability, presentation, and data quality.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualification / Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent.
Fresh graduate or up to 6 months of experience.
Succinct communication skills.
Strong collaboration skills.
Strong financial knowledge or knowledge of the global economy.
Proficient ability to navigate and use common computer programs.
Excellent communication skills, basic MS Excel skills, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Basic Insurance knowledge (e.g., what are premiums, how an insurance company makes money, different types of Insurance).
Strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of business, financial statements, and investments.
Proficient in research and analysis.
Inclination towards customer-oriented approach.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with little supervision.
