Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to customers on time, ensuring accuracy of invoicing information and agreed-upon terms.
  2. Payment Processing: Receive and process incoming payments, record payments accurately, and apply payments to customer accounts.
  3. Accounts Receivable Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable to ensure correct application of payments and investigate discrepancies.
  4. Collections: Monitor accounts for overdue payments, contact customers, and work with them to arrange payment plans when necessary.
  5. Reporting: Maintain current accounts receivable aging reports and generate weekly or monthly reports on outstanding balances.
  6. Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions and customer information into accounting software.
  7. Maintain Records: Keep accurate and organized records of customer payments, account history, and financial transactions.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is an asset.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions.
  5. Ability to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies.
