Smart School Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing the establishment and management of 3-5 smart schools within targeted urban slum neighborhoods. The primary goal is to ensure sustainable success across key indicators such as growth in number of students and learning outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in managing logistics and working with vendors/suppliers is highly desirable. Technical aptitude and familiarity with educational technology or IT systems are also a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify suitable locations for setting up smart schools within a designated cluster.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements for school spaces, ensuring cost-effectiveness and long-term viability.
  • Oversee school infrastructure setup, procurement of resources, and technology installation.
  • Recruit and onboard a school team including a school principal and facilitators.
  • Build strong relationships with community members and local stakeholders to encourage enrollment and participation.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal learning environments and adherence to school policies and procedures.
  • Track and report metrics including student attendance, retention, academic progress, and engagement levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, deployments, or operations management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
