Engineering graduate from a reputable university with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of relevant experience and at least 4 years of experience as a Functional/Team Lead. Registration with the Professional Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage all operation and maintenance tasks on the main pipeline lines-instrumentation to ensure smooth and uninterrupted natural gas supply.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure Safe and Uninterrupted Gas Supply: Maintain instrumentation on pipelines to ensure uninterrupted and safe gas supply with maintained pressure.
  2. Provide Technical Support: Provide technical and administrative support on a daily basis pertinent to pipeline section and assist in fabrication, commissioning operations, and maintenance of Point Of Delivery (POD) and Sales Meter Station (SMS) pertaining to Head Quarter (HQ).
  3. Efficient UFG Control: Ensure efficient Underground Fuel Gas (UFG) control in Transmission Network through effective instrumentation controls.
  4. Quality Control and Safety: Supervise quality control checks, ensuring the safety and effectiveness or reliability of the system and monitor, support, and provide technical/administrative guidance on day-to-day meters.
  5. Team Management: Manage a team of engineers involved in different activities of pipeline operation & maintenance of Integrity Management of Gas Supply in the network.
  6. Support Gas Supply: Support uninterrupted and smooth gas supply over PODs, valve assemblies, sales metering stations, and Liquid Handling Facilities (LHF).
  7. Network Development: Support development of plans for expansion & rehabilitation of network and supervise the installation & commissioning tasks on the network related to section.
  8. Staff Management: Manage, motivate, and train the department's staff.
  9. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership and develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
  10. Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
  11. Additional Tasks: Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
