Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring efficient and timely processing of financial obligations, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to lead the accounts payable team and manage financial obligations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Supervise: Lead the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and project accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Policies and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate systems and processes.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax-related processes, supporting AM taxation to ensure proper tax withholding and clearing of tax GLs in the software.
  • Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial databases and provide reports as requested by supervisors.
  • Payment Transactions: Oversee all payment transactions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor the status of all transactions within the company and with external vendors and contractors.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement standardized procedures to enhance efficiency and create internal templates.
  • Customer Service: Provide quick and accurate communication with stakeholders, minimizing delays and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Aging and Compliance: Minimize payable aging by improving systems and ensuring compliance with policies and SOPs.
  • Advances and Audits: Ensure timely submission of bills of adjustment after internal audits, minimizing advances in aging.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve each query within a reasonable time, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
