Purchase Director - Garments Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Director to oversee all purchasing activities for our organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received to ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify and interview potential vendors to determine product availability and terms of sales, ensuring we source the best materials for our products.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize budget utilization.
  • Review and evaluate purchase order claims and contracts to ensure conformance to company policy.
  • Analyze market trends and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability, enabling us to make informed decisions.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, resolving grievances and claims in a timely manner.
  • Represent our organization in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers, promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies, fostering a collaborative environment.
