Key Responsibilities:

  2. Meet annual targets set by the Head of Department (HOD) and contribute to creating a high-quality learning environment that fosters student success.">
  3. Collaborate with the Dean/Principal to develop and implement strategies that enhance student learning outcomes, promoting academic excellence and growth.">
  4. Teach assigned courses according to faculty workload policy, utilizing innovative approaches to engage students and promote active learning.">
  5. Pursue ongoing professional development in teaching methods and contribute to curriculum planning, ensuring that courses are relevant, effective, and aligned with industry standards.">
  6. Foster critical thinking, debate, and discourse among students through interactive lessons, encouraging them to explore complex ideas and concepts.">
  7. Serve as supervisor for student projects, field trips, and placements, providing guidance and support to help students achieve their goals.">
  8. Evaluate and assess student work, offering constructive feedback to promote growth, self-awareness, and improvement.">
  9. Maintain accurate records of student academic performance for internal evaluation, using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.">
  10. Mentor 15-20 students through the Riphah Mentoring Program, promoting academic and personal development, and helping students to achieve their full potential.">
  11. Ensure data accuracy in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and other required software, maintaining the integrity of academic records and supporting seamless communication between students, staff, and administrators.">
  12. Incorporate Islamic and ethical values into teaching practices, actively participating in departmental and university committees as needed, to promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and social responsibility.">
  13. Align teaching content and methods with RIU's mission, addressing issues related to subordinates and student needs, and promoting a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.">
  14. Monitor student attendance in classes, labs, and practicals, maintaining a fair and transparent approach that supports student success and well-being.">
  15. Publish research findings through various media channels, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world problems, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.">
  16. Pursue independent research, taking on leadership roles in projects and research teams, and demonstrating expertise and leadership skills that inspire and motivate others.">
  17. Supervise staff, manage research projects, and serve as PhD supervisor when required, demonstrating expertise and leadership skills that promote academic excellence and growth.">
  18. Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a commitment to quality and excellence.">
