
Human Resources Strategist

Salary and Job Description:
- To lead the development and implementation of human resource strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to human resource management, ensuring effective implementation of organizational strategies and operational plans.
- Design and develop human resource policies and standards in line with applicable laws, rules, and legislation to ensure fair and equitable management of staff throughout the organization.
- Ensure that HR issues are given full consideration in all decision-making processes.
- Foster Islamic values and principles within human resources policies and lead by example.
- Integrate the organization's core values into human resources policies and practices where appropriate.
- Ensure that managers and staff are aware of policies and procedures and can operate them effectively.
- Provide support to managers on HR and organizational development issues.
- Develop, implement, and manage a process of induction for staff, volunteers, and trustees.
- Develop, implement, and manage a system of performance appraisal.
- Manage the annual training and development plan and budget, ensuring individual training plans are followed up.
- Ensure that salaries and benefits are regularly reviewed and are in line with market trends.
- Provide support and advice as appropriate in disciplinary, grievance, and other such matters.
- Oversee the implementation of HR systems and record-keeping, ensuring follow-up where necessary.

Requirements:
Education / Qualification: A Master's degree from a renowned institution. Preferably an MBA.
Experience: Relevant experience working in human resources, including policy and procedure development, performance management, management, and staff development.
Skills / Abilities: Proven ability to work in a team-working style in complex interdependent organizations. Ability to work on own initiative and be the only person with specialist knowledge in the organization. Good at developing relationships, including distant and cross-cultural relationships. Able to persuade and negotiate with people to ensure that standards are met. Ability to think strategically and ensure that HR issues are addressed in the strategy and operational plans. Flexible – able to work strategically and at a hands-on level. IT literate.
