Enterprise Risk Management Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Assistant Manager within our Enterprise Risk team in Karachi, Pakistan.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple client engagement teams and working with high-level client personnel to address compliance, financial, and operational risks. Your primary focus will be on assessing and mitigating risks across diverse engagements, ensuring the highest level of quality and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement Team Management: Manage multiple client engagement teams at the managerial level within the practice and the firm.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Work with high-level client personnel to address compliance, financial, and operational risks.
  • Internal Control Testing and Audit Services: Perform internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, and provide internal audit services on an outsourcing basis.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members.
  • Communication and Briefing: Brief the engagement team on the client's IA environment and trends.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service.
  • Risk Understanding: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of compliance, financial, and operational risks.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying relevant technical knowledge across diverse engagements.
