Procurement Specialist Role

The ideal candidate for this Procurement Specialist role will oversee and manage purchasing activities ensuring they are cost-effective, efficient, and adhere to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of procurement staff, overseeing all departmental activities.
  • Plan and coordinate the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Implement and enforce company-wide procurement policies and procedures.
  • Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services for purchase.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate purchase records.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and build strong relationships.
  • Research and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Requirements:

  • Aged between 25-35 years old.
  • High school or graduate degree.
  • Degree in accounting, business management, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a procurement specialist or similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
