General Manager Product and Pricing

Functional Competencies

  1. Set Pricing policies and guidelines
  2. Develop appropriate pricing guidelines, analysis tools, and pricing strategy.
  3. Gather information
  4. Mine historical pricing data from the organization and market competitors.
  5. Lead effective price reviews on large opportunities through market intelligence with cross-functional divisional staff teams.
  6. Develop optimal pricing proposal
  7. Develop strong in-house analytic capabilities to perform various pricing analyses that produce the optimal pricing proposal.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the team's analytic work, ensuring high support levels to product owners.
  9. Conduct portfolio analysis
  10. Analyze market performance of products and product lines (financial, product performance).
  11. Identify performance gaps and translate them into marketing actions.
  12. Determine product strategy and revenue plans
  13. Define product strategy based on market analysis.
  14. Establish revenue plans by product.
  15. Develop revenue targets for the business and cascade them to all regions.
  16. Develop products and bundles
  17. Develop product suggestions based on customer needs insight.
  18. Identify new product and service opportunities.
  19. Determine and develop cross-bundling opportunities.
  20. Create promotional activities
  21. Devise promotional plans utilizing marketing communication and business analytics.
  22. Oversee the launch and execution of marketing plans.
  23. Product support to sales
  24. Support product sales through tools and training, and interact with channel management.
  25. Monitor sales and revenues concerning products and services.
  26. Monitor target achievement at regional and consolidated levels.
  27. Managing platforms
  28. Act as liaison for IT and Technical teams in platform development for products and feature releases.
  29. Finalize the business scope for platform development and upgrades.
Job Specification

Experience: 12 years of sales/marketing experience.

Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in Business/Engineering.
