Job Description

This is a grant-funded contractual position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicles, both inside and outside. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date trip sheets, transportation logs, and vehicle maintenance records.

  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure all aspects are in good condition.
  • Maintain accurate transportation logs and update them regularly.
  • Ensure that goods are safely handled and delivered to the assigned locations during transportation.

Responsibilities also include performing minor vehicle maintenance tasks as required and coordinating major maintenance with management.

The role requires strong commitment to the service's aims and objectives, and an ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate should have good interpersonal skills and a courteous nature.

A valid driving license and at least one year of relevant driving experience are necessary requirements. Additionally, preferably a matric certificate is expected.
