Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RAN Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and designing RAN networks, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our existing infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on RAN (2G/3G/4G/5G Network) planning & Design & RAN Implementation. This includes configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of various equipment such as BSC6900, BSC6910, BTS3900, DBSC3900, OMU/BAM/BSC9600/6910, SDR (GUL) Sites, and LTE sites.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues related to site degradation, re-parenting of BSC/RNC, and basic radio tuning of 2G/3G/LTE networks. Additionally, you will analyze network performance, monitor alarms, and report on occurring faults for all RAN products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in telecommunication for wireless integration.
  • Solid knowledge of 2G/3G/4G integration, planning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Huawei equipment such as BSC6900, 6910, BTS3900, BTS5900, U2020, U2000.
  • Familiarity with Wireless networks Architecture like 2G, 3G, 4G.
  • Understanding of Site Survey and Site Design KCPs related to Wireless hardware and accessories.
  • Knowledge on Huawei Wireless and Power Hardware like Antenna/AAU, RRUs, BBUs, Microwave, and Rectifier System.
  • Auto-Cad Knowledge and experience to design Indoor and Outdoor layouts.
  • Hands-on experience of MS Office, 360 Suite etc.
