Job Title

Fiber Operations Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee efficient fiber network operations in the region, including deployment, cuts reduction, and restoration with Field Maintenance Crews.
  • Perform maintenance and upkeep of optical fiber junction networks, Access Networks, and Metro Networks.
  • Ensure ring completion of spur links, Main Service Administration Groups, and other network elements to prevent outages in case of dual fiber cuts.
  • Restore and revamp optical fiber cables for optimal network utilization.
  • Relocate networks due to civil works or pre-deposited works, ensuring security and safety of hand holes, PVC ducts, and cables.
  • Effectively utilize Field Maintenance Crews to reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) levels below 4 hours.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Competencies:
  • Technical knowledge of Optical Fiber Communication.
  • Technical knowledge of transmission equipment.
  • Operational and maintenance activities expertise.
