The demand planning and consensus forecasting process is a crucial component of supply chain management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in demand planning and consensus forecasting processes while making a meaningful impact within a global pharmaceutical company.

Job Description

This position offers an exciting chance to drive alignment between global supply chain, finance, and commercial teams. By ensuring accurate, data-driven forecasts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing global forecasting processes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Act as a champion of the global ERP template from a demand planning process perspective.
  2. Support the business with specialist expertise and knowledge of the processes and systems.
  3. Engage with upstream and downstream process owners to ensure alignment of business processes.
  4. Conduct routine assessments of business process performance to identify opportunities for optimization and re-engineering.

You will also be responsible for preparing business cases for planned or proposed changes, optimizing the use of standard planning tools, and developing documentation for user-training and capability-build.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement projects.
  • Able to articulate experience managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in at least two of SAP APO / SAP BW-IP / OMP / SAC in Demand Planning / Consensus Forecasting process.
  • General understanding of statistical/machine learning forecasting process and links with wider S&OP/IBP decision making process.
  • General understanding of financial planning processes.
