Job Title:

Financial Operations Leader

Job Description:

This role involves driving financial processes and reporting for sales and marketing subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing core financial procedures, taxation, and transfer pricing within set timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and improve forecasting methods to enhance data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Lead the budgeting and planning exercise for subsidiaries.
  3. Examine expenses against budgets, recommend adjustments, and identify operational improvements.
  4. Maintain adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures across markets.
  5. Develop business processes and policies, support feasibility studies, and propose new projects or expansion plans.
  6. Manage group credit, including approvals for new customers and reviewing existing terms.
  7. Conduct financial analysis and root cause investigations, providing insights and recommendations.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. A Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  3. Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases (SAP, BI, etc.).
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  5. Ability to develop complex financial models, especially for cash flow planning and forecasting.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Post-qualification experience of 3-5 years.
  9. Experience as a Financial Controller in an MNC and in a Big 4 accounting firm.
