Job Overview

The Distribution Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse and transportation functions. This involves managing staff, inventory, and equipment to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize staff and equipment utilization during shifts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate with transport representatives to maintain optimal vehicle availability and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate loading and unloading procedures while maintaining a First Entry First Out (FEFO) status.
  • Monitor and control empty pallet supply to production and address any shortages promptly.
  • Provide timely finished goods data as required and maintain accurate records.
  • Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and implement Good Warehouse Practices.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and environmental responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and regulations.
  • Assume additional duties and tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Distribution Operations, Supply Chain, or Warehousing.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives and deliver successful projects.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and SAP MH Modules.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Engineering background.
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience.
