
Business Development Representative Job

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating sales through cold calling and responding to customer inquiries.
You will work closely with a Senior & Floor Manager to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
A successful Business Development Representative must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. They must be able to understand customer requirements and present solutions that meet their needs.
The ideal candidate will also be patient and results-oriented, with a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas.
Responsibilities:
- Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products or services
- Respond to incoming calls from prospective customers
- Use scripts to provide information about our services
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer's requirements.
- Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
- Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard our reputation
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
Job Specification:
Proven 6 months experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer rejection
