Key Responsibilities
  • Operation & Maintenance: Comprehensive expertise in operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, including compressors, cooling towers, pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, fans, motors, LT/HT switchgears, generators, and 132 KV grid stations.
  • Project Management: Designing mechanical and electrical systems, making modifications to meet process requirements, and managing capital projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Inventory Management: Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, evaluating critical store items to maintain operational machines, and following up on deliveries through developing critical machine parts lists and updating statuses regularly.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinating with contractors to execute project jobs within timelines and budgets, developing contracts for petty jobs, evaluating contractor bids, QEMs, and billings.
  • People Management: Leading teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, and civil disciplines, fostering coordination among departments, providing technical guidance, and building effective teams.
  • Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensuring adherence to company policies and sharing ideas for continuous improvement projects, conserving energy through process optimization, preparing feasibility reports and BOQs, overseeing procurement, and ensuring safe project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing stakeholder expectations, coordinating with procurement for low-cost substitutes of import items, and ensuring business needs are met efficiently.
