Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer - AutomationJob Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation specializing in Selenium with hands-on Python expertise. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing scripts, writing test cases, and applying industry best practices to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

As a key member of our QA team, you will drive QA best practices and enhance testing methodologies using automation tools and frameworks. You will perform hands-on automation testing across various layers, including UI, API, and backend services, and design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure efficient and scalable testing processes.

Additionally, you will integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enhance the speed and reliability of testing cycles, collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define automation strategies, and operate within an Agile environment to ensure QA processes align with sprint goals and delivery timelines.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor and coach junior QA engineers on automation practices, tools, and frameworks, and contribute to performance testing and ensure automation supports a broader strategy covering functional, performance, and security aspects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation.
  • Proven expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks—particularly Selenium with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Solid understanding of API testing and automation using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working within Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills; able to work closely with development teams and mentor junior QA team members.
