Job Profile:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.

The role focuses on partnering with operating and finance colleagues to support small high-quality businesses.

Responsibilities include generating accurate customer invoices, recording cash receipts, monitoring AR aging reports, investigating discrepancies, and identifying accruals.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a finance/accounting role, a college degree in business or accounting, and excellent attention to detail.

Experience with ERP systems is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Generate and send accurate customer invoices using ERP systems.
    • Record cash receipts and payments received from customers.
    • Monitor and manage the AR aging report.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in AR.
    • Identify and book AR-related accruals during the month-end process.
  • Other Finance & Accounting Responsibilities:
    • Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting processes within ERP.
    • Process vendor invoices and payments within ERP.
    • Investigate and resolve posting errors for both AR and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance/accounting role.
  • College degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
