Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to support the finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing day-to-day financial operations, monitoring cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  2. Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.

  3. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.

  4. Evaluate financial data to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

  5. Support financial analysis, planning, and decision-making by providing insights and recommendations.

  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.

  7. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on financial performance, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

  8. Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as ACCA/CA/CMA is an advantage).

  2. Proven experience of at least 3 years in finance or accounting roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

  3. Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.

  4. Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.

  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

  7. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
