Key Responsibilities
  • Review and edit articles for factual accuracy, clarity, grammar, and overall quality ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines.
  • Perform detailed copy editing to ensure correct language, tone, and style across all published content.
  • Work closely with the Managing Editor and Associate Editor to meet editorial deadlines and manage the content pipeline.
  • Ensure consistency in style and formatting across all content while verifying information and sources.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in editing, journalism, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Exceptional command of written English and Urdu.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy.
  • Cultural Insight: Strong understanding of Pakistan's political and cultural landscape.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in journalism, communication, English, or a related field.
