About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Advisor to join our team at Standard Chartered Life and Careers. As a key member of our Integrated Middle Office, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and support.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality advice and guidance to Relationship Managers across all lending units in Pakistan, ensuring seamless documentation processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will also be responsible for performing end-to-end orchestration across various processes and services managed by our Integrated Middle Office, engaging clients throughout the onboarding process, and driving execution of processes to deliver excellent client service.

In addition, you will undertake ad-hoc duties as delegated by your Line Manager and Country Head of Integrated Middle Office, including creating Customer Due Diligence for new clients and reviewing existing client files.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide quality support and advice to Relationship Managers (RM's) within all lending units located in Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan on all documentation related matters, including the origination of documentation for customers where required.
  2. Deliver excellent service and advice to our Corporate (Corporate & Institutional Banking) clients in all interactions for their channel activation pre-transactional enquiries/setup, trainings and other channel related issues.
  3. Perform end-to-end orchestration across all processes and services managed by Integrated Middle Office.
  4. Engage clients throughout the process, ensuring seamless delivery and client experience.
  5. Own and drive execution of processes, working closely with stakeholders and the value chain to deliver excellent client service, getting clients to the point of ready-to-transact as quickly as possible, across both simple and complex cases.
  6. Adhere to first-time-right principles.
  7. Provide insight and suggestions to improving processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate. Look at ways to promote standard work and best practices.
  8. Undertake ad-hoc duties as delegated by Line Manager and Country Head of Integrated Middle Office.
  9. Perform all relevant onboarding processes.
  10. Create Customer Due Diligence for New Clients & Review of Customer Due Diligence for Existing Clients and perform regulatory onboarding activities.
  11. Drive GIC and network onboarding processes.
  12. Conduct checks on Customer Due Diligence as applicable.
  13. Respond and clear queries from Checkers / Other Specialists / Business CRM in a timely manner.
  14. Work in partnership with all relevant stakeholders effectively within the end-to-end Customer Due Diligence process.
  15. Where serving as a checker, perform checks on Customer Due Diligence output from Client Delivery Makers, ensuring they adhere to policies and standard work.
  16. Escalate or enforce compliance requirements, and follow any other relevant internal controls and procedures as they relate to process, products, policies and regulations.
  17. Ensure strong due diligence on document safekeeping and data confidentiality.
  18. Ensure correctness of documentation prior to any dispensation from the Bank.
  19. Ensure compliance with the internal policies and credit policies, external policies, regulatory and statutory requirements.
  20. Undertake periodic self-assessment on key controls to assess the proper functioning and adequacy of existing controls.
