
Area Sales and Commercial Development Manager

About the Role:
- This position involves managing sales teams and overseeing various aspects of commercial operations.
- As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing vendors after acquisition and maximizing their potential.
- You will work closely with different teams to ensure smooth vendor journeys and high-quality vendor experiences within the platform.
- Conduct external face-to-face meetings with vendors, including furnishing onboarding training manuals tailored-fit for specific partners, supporting vendor issues, and maintaining contact.
- Onboard various shops/Restaurants at different locations across the city.
- Work proactively with Supply, Live Operations, Sales, Account Management, and Content Teams to ensure tasks and requirements are accurate and completed timely.
- Research accounts, identify stakeholders/decision-makers, and generate interest in food delivery services.
- Oversee newly onboarded vendors and drive operational excellence within the platform on metrics such as commercial performance, internal tools, systems, and special projects.
- Responsible for vendor development and growth, including but not limited to, onboarding and incubation processes for shops.
- Manage and resolve vendor-related inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Ability to work with diverse teams to ensure smooth vendor experiences and high-quality vendor interactions within the platform.
- Daily field visits to ensure all targeted shops are properly onboarded.
- Bring strategic brands onto the food delivery platform and ensure no categories are missed from available shops in assigned regions.
- Maintain inventory logs and update records on Salesforce.
- Provide necessary training and support during the initial onboarding period.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Sales/Marketing or a business-related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in field sales or key account management.
- Strong work ethic, self-starter approach, integrity, and ability to lead and develop oneself and others.
- Capacity to understand sales functional areas, including Channel & Category Sales.
- Prior experience in managing field sales teams is a plus.
