Senior Medical Coding Analyst

This role involves overseeing the coding of medical records, conducting audits to maintain coding standards, and providing guidance to coding staff. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing coding analysis strategies, leading quality assurance efforts, serving as a senior resource for coding education, and liaising between medical staff and coding teams.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or above, 3-5 years of experience in US medical billing or medical coding, good understanding of full life cycle revenue cycle management, ability to initiate and manage multi-disciplined projects, and strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Develop and implement effective coding analysis strategies to support accurate billing and maximize reimbursements.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts for medical coding, conducting audits and providing feedback on accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as a senior resource for coding education, spearheading training initiatives and mentoring coding staff.
  • Liaise between medical staff and coding teams to promote a comprehensive understanding of medical documentation requirements.
