Job Overview

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively enhance quality management systems through internal audits, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Enhancement: Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards. Ensure raw materials meet required specifications before production. Establish quality benchmarks for ketchup and mayonnaise (taste, viscosity, texture, pH, microbiological safety). Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality of ingredients and packaging materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee daily quality control testing at all production stages (raw material, in-process, finished product). Monitor critical control points during production, especially pasteurization, emulsification, and filling. Ensure laboratory testing of microbiology, shelf-life, pH levels, and sensory evaluations. Approve/reject raw materials and finished goods based on QC results. Maintain records of inspection, testing, and certifications.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • 5+ years' relevant work experience
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
