  • We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Management Systems Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our WMS infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key liaison between the development team and clients to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Contribute to scoping efforts, estimating project timelines, and developing milestone plans.
  • Collaborate in defining deliverables, assumptions, commercials, and dependencies.
  • Develop a comprehensive WMS strategy aligned with client objectives.
  • Drive solution architecture, design, and implement efficient, scalable, and customizable systems.
  • Making critical technical decisions to meet client expectations.
  • Define best practices and standards for the development team.
  • Ensure adherence to code review processes and perform reviews for customizations.
  • Maintain a high level of technical competence within the team.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop solutions to enhance client offerings and revenue streams.
  • Generate skill-building plans for team members.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and mentoring team members.
  • Publish thought leadership pieces such as white papers, blogs, and case studies.
  • Participate in Pres-Sales activities - define end-to-end solution architectures and drive proposals.
  • Contribute to practice-related activities - develop proof-of-concepts, accelerators, evaluate tools/framework/platforms, and marketing collateral.
  • Implement Manhattan WMS modules and configure them to support warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience in WMS (like Manhattan WMS) and Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Velocity.
  • Expertise in Manhattan WMS integration with other systems like ERP/MHE/ProShip is mandatory.
  • Experience in Retail – E-commerce domain is necessary.
  • Customize WMS to accommodate specific business rules, workflows, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS inbound/outbound processes and web services (REST & SOAP).
  • Familiarity with designing medium to large enterprise applications, code refactoring, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS) and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, SAML).
  • Experience in implementing Test-Driven Development, Domain-Driven Design, and clean code principles.
  • Client-facing experience and working in matrix organization models.
  • Estimation techniques like Use-case, FP, Story points.
  • Presenting skills for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Agile execution methodology.
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
