Medical Imaging Assistant

The role requires a professional to assist in various ultrasound procedures, performed by medical experts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in performing ultrasound procedures as required.
- Read and understand requests for these procedures.
- Prepare reports and obtain timely signatures from relevant specialists.
- Maintain inventory levels according to daily requirements.
- Distribute reports to patients in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service on the floor, responding to queries and offering assistance when needed.
- FOLLOW safety protocols, including radiation safety, to protect both patients and staff.
- Maintain a clean environment in accordance with hospital standards and infection control policies.
- Intermediate education is preferred, but not mandatory. A degree in a relevant field would be advantageous.
- A minimum of one year's experience in a reputable hospital setting is required.
- Excellent typing skills, knowledge of radiology terminology, and proficiency in filing documents are essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration within the team.
- Basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, should be familiar to the candidate.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for this role.
- Flexibility to work shift duties is also required.
