About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Director to lead our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient payment transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Oversee and manage the accounts payable department, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure they meet their objectives.
  2. Payment Transactions: Ensure all payment transactions are processed efficiently and accurately, minimizing delays and errors.
  3. Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and project accounting.
  4. Tax Compliance: Oversee tax-related processes, including withholding and clearing of tax GLs in software.
  5. Financial Expenditures: Track and maintain a database of company expenditures, providing regular reports to supervisors as requested.
  6. Procedure Standardization: Develop and implement procedures to generate efficiency within the organization, creating internal templates to standardize processes.
  7. Customer Service: Provide quick and accurate communication with customers, resolving queries efficiently and effectively.
  8. Aging Analysis: Analyze and minimize payable aging, improving system compliance with policies and SOPs.
  9. Internal Audit: Ensure timely submission of bills of adjustment after internal audits, minimizing advances in aging.
  10. Query Resolution: Resolve each query within a reasonable time frame, providing prompt and effective customer service.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably in accounts payable management.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive and organized individual with excellent time management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
