Sales and Business Development Professional
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales specialist to manage and grow our presence on freelance marketplaces. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of freelance marketplace dynamics and a proven track record of driving conversions, optimizing gigs, and retaining clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage client communication across freelance platforms, providing prompt, professional, and persuasive responses.
- Conduct discovery calls and sales meetings to understand client needs and convert leads into paying customers.
- Handle client inquiries end-to-end, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout the sales cycle.
- Upsell premium services and create repeat business opportunities through proactive relationship management.
- Optimize gig titles, descriptions, tags, and pricing to align with industry trends and platform algorithms.
- Propose and implement strategies to improve gig visibility and platform rankings (e.g., keyword optimization, promotional campaigns).
- Maintain detailed records of leads, conversations, conversions, and outcomes using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or working experience in relevant domain
- In-depth knowledge of freelance marketplace algorithms, best practices, and buyer behaviors.
- Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken) with a persuasive, client-focused approach.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals via messaging platforms and live calls.
- Experience with lead tracking tools, spreadsheets, and/or CRM systems
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to adapt strategies based on platform insights and client feedback.
