Job Summary

This position plays a pivotal role in the engine maintenance operations, requiring strong leadership and technical expertise.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of engine maintenance workflows to ensure seamless execution and optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for queries related to engine status.
  • Manage investigations and sick bays according to agreed-upon timelines and cost commitments.
  • Evaluate and validate workscopes and extensions to guarantee compliance with established processes and guidelines.
  • Foster collaboration within the Customer Team, serving as the main liaison between customers and the shop. Coordinate communications and customer requirements across the MRO network.
  • Organize and facilitate customer visits to the facility.
  • Ensure timely validation of industrial gates.
  • Maintain track of invoicing delays and guarantee adherence to quality standards as per contractual obligations.
  • Develop and implement risk analysis and mitigation plans for wing-to-wing maintenance operations.
  • Optimize engine maintenance costs to enhance contract profitability.
  • Resolve commercial disputes with customers, working towards mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Integrate lessons learned and best practices to optimize stakeholder hand-offs.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage projects efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working under pressure and meeting performance targets.
  • Cross-cultural experience and adaptability.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, engineering, or customer service within the aerospace industry, specifically on CFM56 / Leap engines.
  • Preferred 8+ years of experience in similar roles within the MRO aerospace industry.
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft engines.
