Job Description

 

  • Embodies a thorough understanding of the engine maintenance operations process, ensuring timely decision-making and effective actions to meet customer commitments and production planning targets.
  • Serves as the primary interface for stakeholders, providing regular updates on maintenance operations and coordinating with leadership regarding engine status.
  • Maintains efficient management of investigations and sick bays, adhering to established Time-to-Achieve Targets (TAT) and cost commitments.
  • Closely monitors initial workscope and extensions to ensure compliance with relevant processes and program guidelines.
  • Fosters strong relationships with customers through seamless communication and coordination across Safran Aircraft Engines' MRO network.
  • Organizes site visits by customers to facilitate open dialogue and build trust.
  • Validates successful completion of industrial milestones.
  • Identifies and resolves invoicing delays while maintaining quality standards in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Leverages risk analysis and mitigation strategies to optimize wing-to-wing maintenance operations.
  • Optimizes engine maintenance costs to enhance contract profitability.
  • Negotiates commercial disputes and works towards amicable resolutions with customers.
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned to streamline stakeholder hand-offs.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Effective project management and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Cross-cultural experience and adaptability.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, engineering, or customer service within the aerospace industry, specifically with CFM56 / Leap engines.

Preferred 8+ years of experience in similar roles within the MRO aerospace industry.

Technical knowledge of aircraft engines.
