Technical Software Proposal Writer

- Develop a comprehensive proposal plan and kickoff materials based on RFP reviews.
- Create a proposal outline, compliance matrix, and schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with Subject Matter Experts to gather information and write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, past performance/qualification summaries, and resumes.
- Analyze RFP requirements and develop a compliance matrix to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the proposal development team to articulate a winning strategy.
- Collect technical data and pricing information from SMEs and create storyboards and sectional outlines.
- Develop proposal templates and models to streamline the proposal process.
- Compose all bid content, including executive summaries, organization credentials, cost narratives, technical sections, conclusions, etc., to effectively communicate value proposition.
- Interface with internal and external partners to implement proposal strategy and meet proposal deadlines.
- Ensure document compliance with RFP criteria, including requirements related to content, formatting, length, layout, etc.

Key Responsibilities

- Utilize proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone, to maintain quality results and ensure uniformity throughout the proposal.
- Monitor changes to solicitation and adjust work accordingly to ensure proposal remains relevant and effective.
- Assist in facilitating team reviews of work and revise product as required to ensure seamless integration of components.
- Edit text to ensure that bid is error-free, uniform in tone and style, and adheres to company and client stipulations.
- Work with graphics specialist to create compelling document visuals.
- Pull proposal together, integrating disparate components into a unified, coherent whole, and compile and ship proposal in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
