Job Description

A skilled Solution and Proposal Engineer is required to join our fast-paced team. This role involves designing, optimizing, and proposing control system solutions tailored to customer needs.



Main Responsibilities
  • Review RFQs and ensure design solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge of PLC/DCS-based control systems and SCADA systems is essential.
  • Prior experience in estimation and proposal making for brown field jobs is an advantage.
  • Effort estimation for engineering, construction, and testing works must be accurate.
  • Sales support for key proposals against received RFQs is crucial.
  • Proposals coordination and follow-ups with the sales team are vital.
  • Support the team in obtaining multiple quotes from vendors.
  • Develop standard procedures and have excellent writing skills.
  • Design optimal control system architectures with in-depth knowledge of network protocols.
  • Evaluate the quality of product solutions as defined.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of work experience in engineering or technical sales.
  • Knowledge of field instrumentation selections and cost-optimized solution design is necessary.
  • Site work experience and estimation of construction scope for control system installation is advantageous.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for business development and vendor discounts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
