
Chief Administrative Officer, Laboratory Functions

The role of Senior Assistant involves providing high-level administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of laboratory functions.
- Manage and maintain calendars, schedule meetings and events with accuracy and efficient time management
- Provide administrative and clerical assistance to guarantee the seamless operation of Lab activities
- Raise material stock and personal requisition requests as per departmental needs
- Coordinate with HR and other departments for scheduling interviews and appointments
- Handle business communication effectively, including emails, presentations, drafting memos, business letters, and questionnaires
- Maintain and file confidential information in personnel files of direct reports of the Laboratory Director
- Support the organization of meetings, workshops, and conferences for the department
- Ensure effective logistical arrangements for department meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Liaise with concerned parties for travel arrangements, purchases, payment releases, and reimbursement matters
- Update necessary records related to international accreditation agencies CAP and JCIA
- Calendar Management: Manage and maintain the Laboratory Director's calendar, ensuring accuracy and efficient time management.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of Lab activities.
- Material Requisition: Raise material stock and personal requisition requests as per departmental needs.
- Interview Coordination: Coordinate with HR and other departments for scheduling interviews and appointments.
- Business Communication: Handle business communication effectively, including emails, presentations, drafting memos, business letters, and questionnaires.
- Confidential Information: Maintain and file confidential information in personnel files of direct reports of the Laboratory Director.
- Meeting Organization: Support the organization of meetings, workshops, and conferences for the department.
