Product Sourcing Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research to identify new products and trends in various categories, evaluating and sourcing potential suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing, negotiating product pricing and production schedules with suppliers, and collaborating with the marketing team to develop product descriptions, packaging, and promotional materials.

  • Conduct market research to identify new products and trends in the household, electronics, kitchen accessories, and other categories.
  • Evaluate and source potential suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate product pricing and production schedules with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product descriptions, packaging, and promotional materials.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of related categories.
  • Excellent research, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Business, or a related field.
