Job Role: Estate Acquisition Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Estate Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our real estate operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our telecom sites.

Your primary focus will be on lease management and renewals, site rentals, ROW payments, and new site acquisitions. You will work closely with regulatory authorities, landlords, and internal teams to ensure compliance and optimized costs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lease Management & Renewals:
    • Ensure timely lease renewals and contract extensions to avoid site interruptions
    • Negotiate favorable rental terms with landlords and monitor compliance with lease agreements
  2. Rental & ROW Payments:
    • Oversee nationwide site rentals, ROW payments, and associated cost reconciliations
    • Coordinate with finance and tax teams to process payments accurately and on time
  3. Liaison with Authorities:
    • Manage relationships and secure approvals from government agencies and private landlords
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
  4. New Site Acquisition:
    • Identify and acquire new telecom sites in coordination with the planning and rollout teams
    • Conduct feasibility assessments, site surveys, and commercial negotiations
  5. Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all leases, contracts, payments, and regulatory communications
    • Use dashboards to track lease expiries, payments, approvals, and new site status
  6. Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Mitigate risks related to lease expirations, regulatory non-compliance, and landlord disputes
    • Ensure alignment with internal governance, legal policies, and telecom regulatory guidelines
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in real estate management, Business Administration, Law, or related field
  2. 3-5 years of experience in telecom real estate management, site acquisition, or infrastructure leasing
  3. Proficiency in Office 365 tools: SharePoint (for documentation), Power BI (for reporting)
  4. Strong understanding of lease management systems, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance
  5. Familiarity with ERP tools (Oracle, SAP) is an advantage
  6. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  8. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
