The Flood Recovery Programme (FRP) was launched in response to the 2022 floods to support climate-resilient recovery in the most severely affected regions. The FRP delivers integrated assistance across four thematic areas: restoration of housing, livelihoods, governance, and disaster preparedness.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Specialist to support the implementation of construction and rehabilitation projects under the FRP. This role will involve planning, designing, implementing, and monitoring civil works projects within the programme.

The incumbent will lead communication with key stakeholders, review information on completed civil works, and monitor the quality and timeliness of ongoing projects. They will oversee and manage a team of national engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop infrastructure project plans, assess feasibility, and prepare designs for construction and rehabilitation works.
  • Facilitate and contribute to timely procurement of goods, equipment, and infrastructure services.
  • Oversee contract management, monitoring, and supervision of construction works to ensure certification of invoices and verification of project completion.
  • Facilitate knowledge management, reporting, and archiving of project data.
