Job Description

A Solar Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading complex solar projects from planning to completion. The position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, site surveys, and developing reports to ensure project feasibility and alignment with company goals.
  2. Team Management: Lead and coordinate the project team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring team efforts align with project objectives.
  3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project's success and develop mitigation strategies, anticipating challenges related to permits, weather conditions, or supply chain disruptions.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure the solar project meets high-quality standards and complies with industry regulations and safety guidelines by overseeing inspections and quality assurance processes.
  5. Approvals: Obtain necessary HOA approvals, permits, and utility interconnections for the project.
  6. Communication with Installers: Coordinate material requirements, update installers on material delivery, and schedule installations with clients and installers based on availability.
  7. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, updating them on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  8. Commissioning and Setup: Set up monitoring systems for installed systems, schedule final inspections by relevant authorities, and request permission to operate from the utility.
  9. Budget Management: Monitor expenses, track costs, and make adjustments to stay within budget while preparing financial reports and forecasts.
  10. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document project milestones, permits, and contracts.
  11. Problem Solving: Resolve issues such as delays, conflicts, or technical challenges quickly and effectively.Required Skills and Qualifications
