Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Optical Network Planning Manager to lead the planning and design efforts of GPON and FTTH projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OSP operations, fiber route design, and network planning. They will be responsible for developing strategies for the expansion and optimization of GPON/FTTH networks, aligning with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning of GPON (FTTH) networks in the northern region, ensuring effective and efficient network design while overseeing the planning aspects of OSP operations.
  • Develop strategies for the expansion and optimization of GPON/FTTH networks, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Utilize GIS tools for accurate fiber optic network route planning to ensure seamless network implementation.
  • Ensure that project milestones, quality standards, and requirements are met, focusing primarily on the planning stage.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination, particularly focusing on the planning phases of OSP construction and network maintenance.
  • Continuously monitor the network design process and ensure it adheres to industry standards, focusing on long-term planning and improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in the telecom industry, with at least 5-6 years in a managerial role focusing on GPON/FTTH project planning.
  • Strong expertise in OSP operations with a solid understanding of fiber route design and network planning.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful planning strategies for large-scale GPON/FTTH projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
